![]() Note |
ref. no. 32496 (possible lineage, see (Joseph Kellogg Lt.) note: because it is not proven that Lt. Joseph Kellogg is the father of Editha who married Ebenezer Moody, everything "downstream" from her is suspect. (note the parentheses and question marks) Please see the document "*Kellogg, Editha_Moody_argument" for the reason why I am including the Kelloggs in this tree. It seems very likely, until proven otherwise, that Editha's maiden name was Kellogg and that her father was probably Lt. Joseph Kellogg. per Lawson page ( he also refers to the Hopkins book, also "Genealogies of Hadley Families" by Lucius M. Boltwood gives Kellogg ancestry in England and New England "Phillippe Kellogg - b. possibly at Debden, England. First appears in Bocking, Essex in 1583, and resided at Great Leighs from 1585. Probably the son of Thomas and grandson of Nicholas, of Debden, who married Florence Hall, daughter of William Hall. The marriage of Phillippe is not found, but his first recorded child was born in 1583. Evidence suggests the last five children listed below were of a second marriage. The listing of his children here may be incomplete." |
