Mary,........ and Theophilus' wife Mary died in Kenosha, in 1852.
They were all interred in the old Chicago Cemetery (Lincoln Park) and
removed in the 1860's to the old family plot in Graceland Cemetery."

Show Details Note: ".....but life must not have been easy for Theophilus and Mary, forthey lost a daughter, Clara, shortly after their arrival in Jan.
1836; another daughter, Jane, died in 1841, Elizabeth lost a child in
1846 and Elizabeth herself died in 1848, shortly after she lost
another child, this time a new born. Samuel died in 1839 and
Theophilus' wife Mary died in Kenosha, in 1852. They were all
interred in the old Chicago Cemetery (Lincoln Park) and removed in
the 1860's to the old family plot in Graceland Cemetery."

Summit, in this county, aged 16 years, Miss Jane Lois, daughter of
Theopholus S. and Mary Greenwood, formerly of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

".....The hymn book mamma has claimed, and shall retain it, and the
tracts have all been read....
.. Dear Mamma has not been at all well lately -- she has a severe
cold -- but she is recovering fast; she sends her most affectionate
love to you and desires me to say that she thought your letter to her
was the best present in the parcel. She was much pleased with it,
indeed and will answer it soon. She is beginning to loke (sic) the
place better than she did a short time ago.

She has always admired it some, but now better every day. She is
happy - she rides out almost every day, has plenty of calls to
return, every time she goes gets tired out sometimes of course. She
sends her love to Aunt Martha and would give the world (I do believe)
if she was living in Chicago."
