She was born in Union County, September 30th, 1844. When they retired from the farm they lived in Marysville. He died in Cambridge, Ohio, while visiting in the home of a granddaughter, March 8th, 1918. His widow survives and makes her home in Marysville." |

Mrs. Gilcrist was born in Paris Township, September 30, 1844. Four children were the fruits of this union- Franklin M., born April 22, 1865; Levi L., born February 14, 1868; Ellen G., born May 13, 1872, and Samuel S., born August 8, 1878...... He and wife are associated with the Disciples' Church, and are also connected with the Grange, with which Mr. Gilcrist has been prominently identified since its organization." |
